The Medieval and Early Modern Centre
The Medieval and Early Modern Centre (MEMC) is in its seventeenth year of operation. It was inaugurated in August 1997 as the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Sydney and was given its current name and expanded brief in late 2010. The Director of MEMC is Professor Jonathan Wooding, Sir Warwick Fairfax Professor of Celtic Studies.
