Prof Peter Anstey (Philosophy) awarded prize for his book on John Locke

Professor Peter Anstey, ARC Future Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, has just been awarded the Journal of the History of Philosophy Book Prize for 2012 for the best book on the history of Western philosophy published in 2011.
The book, John Locke and Natural Philosophy (Oxford University Press, 2011), has been highly acclaimed, with one reviewer writing, 'Peter Anstey’s John Locke and Natural Philosophy is a masterful and well-argued study of Locke's philosophy of science that shall become both the standard and starting place, for scholars and students alike, for decades to come'.
