A major in Political Economy for students commencing their enrollment from 2018 requires a total of 48 credit points. This includes 12 credit points of 1000-level units, 6 credit points of 2000-level core units, 6 credit points of 2000-level selective units, 18 credit points of 3000-level selective units, and 6 credit points of 3000-level Interdisciplinary Project units.

Pathway through the major for students commencing prior to 2018

If you commenced your candidature prior to 2018, a major in Political Economy requires a total of 48 credit points. This includes 12 credit points of 1000-level units, a minimum of 12 credit points of 2000-level core units, and a minimum of 6 credit points of 3000-level units. The remaining 18 credit points can be taken from any 2000 or 3000 level selective units.
