New Light on Botticelli’s Beauty: Discoveries at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, Milan, lecture

The Power Institute is proud to present a lecture by Dr Annalisa Zanni, Director of the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan. The lecture will discuss the latest discoveries regarding Botticelli’s use of materials and techniques, as explored in a recent exhibition at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum.

Dr Zanni has worked for more than thirty years at the Museum across education, research, exhibitions and the restoration of the museum’s collections. She has created many exhibitions and published books on topics including Renaissance painting and jewellery and the history of taste in 19th century. In 2011 she received the most important dignity of Milan, the Ambrogino d’oro, for her important role devoted to the culture of the city.
