  • This form is for pre-registration/registration for conference delegates who are not keynote speakers.
  • All conference delegates are required to pay one of the three below-mentioned conference registration fees.
  • Delegates who register prior to September 2, 2006, can receive the 'early bird' pre-registration discount.
  • Even if you miss the pre-registration deadline (and the discount), we encourage you to register prior to the conference so that we can prepare a registration packet and nametag for you and send you information about conference events.
  • The institutional affiliation you indicate on the form below will be listed in the program and on the conference nametag that you should wear throughout the conference.
  • Please notify us if your affiliation or your contact information changes before the conference.
  • Please fill and submit your registration details on the form below.
  • Please fill the form in carefully.  Please do not use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS or all small letters (e.g., "THOMAS JONES" or "thomas jones"). 

Registration Fees (Australian dollars):

  • Regular fee: $380
  • Reduced fee for pre-September 2 registration: $300
  • Students and unwaged delegates:   $220

 

Payment Methods:

  1. Cheque: Please make out your cheque in Australian dollars (or the equivalent in foreign currency) payable to "The Oriental Society of Australia". Please write "For OSA2006" on the back of your cheque.
  2. Postal Money Order: The same instructions apply as for payment by cheque. The postal money order should be issued in Australian dollars. If your cheque or money order is not from an Australian bank, please ask us what form is acceptable from your country.
  3. Bank Transfer: Bank transfers may be made to the conference account at Commonwealth Bank Cheque Bearing Interest Account Number 06 2284 00800091, IBAN CTBAAUQS. Please notify us by e-mail after you have made the transfer. 
  4. Cash: We do not encourage or take responsibility for payment by cash through the mail because of the risks involved. However, conference fees can be paid by cash at the conference registration desk.
  5. Credit Card:We accept payment by credit card issued by Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Discover. 
  6. Other Payment Methods: We recognize that some of these payment methods may be unavailable to you or may be excessively expensive.  We encourage you to contact us by email to inquire about possible alternatives. You may submit the registration fee at the same time as submitting this form, or at any time before the pre-registration deadline to be entitled to the pre-registration discount, or you can register at the higher rate at the conference.
    All forms of payment are to be made out to OSA2006.
