I am the co-ordinator for the Heritage Studies program which is an undergraduate major in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. I currently teach the four units of study in Heritage Studies. I have a longstanding research interest in the archaeology and rock art of cross-cultural interactions based on field research on Groote Eylandt and in eastern Arnhem Land. My research is situated within a community-based approach to archaeology.
