Article reading workshop
The School of Languages and Cultures has resumed the Article-reading Workshop. This research development activity is designed to provide peer support to those SLC researchers, who are aiming to publish their articles with scholarly journals. Following the success of the workshops in the past, we are now open for submission of draft articles. Once a bank of draft articles is created, we will form several peer support groups responding to the different disciplinary fields of research that the received articles fall in. A workshop meeting, convened by a senior SLC researcher, will be organized for each peer support group. For each meeting, we will invite an external respondent with expertise in the field to give comments/feedbacks on the draft article. The workshop participants are welcome to nominate expert respondents in their fields. All academic staff members in SLC are eligible to participate in this workshop.
