Biographical details
My research is related to Chinese women’s history and their literary works. I also study the history and literature of the Wei-Jin period in China. I am the editor-in-chief of the Biographical Dictionary of Chinese Women in four volumes, two of which have already been published; the third is with the publisher now. I have written books and articles on Chinese women and on the classic Shishuo xinyu.
