Description
This unit provides students with the basic principles and procedures of quantitative research methods in the social sciences. It first introduces a range of quantitative research strategies and tools that can be deployed to collect research data, and then introduces basic statistical methods to analyse that data. By the end of the course students should be able to interpret basic statistical data and be able to design their own quantitative research strategies to carry out social sciences research.
