Dear Colleagues,
 
I would like to extend thanks to each one of you who took the time to attend our recent strategy launch event. Your presence and engagement were instrumental in making the event such a success.
 
The strategy we unveiled is not just a roadmap for our future; it is a dynamic framework designed to enable us to keep pace with the evolving landscape of higher education. In light of the many challenges facing the sector right now from AI through to what the recommendations of the Accord report might deliver, our strategic direction is crafted to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve. Read more

Green Impact 2024: Launch

Make a real difference to your planet, people and our community! Join Green Impact, the University wide sustainability challenge for staff and students in 2024. This launch event will introduce the 2024 program, walk you through the new toolkit platform and you'll hear from past participants experiences completing Green Impact.

DAWN spotlight event: Down syndrome

Join Ellen Hester, from Down Syndrome NSW, to learn about some of the inequities faced by people with disability with a particular focus on people with Down syndrome.

Updates and services

Processing and supporting one another after loss and trauma

We're offering a session on Thursday 21 March to help with processing trauma and loss. This session can be useful for staff who are processing things personally, and also staff who are colleagues or managers supporting other people who have been impacted. After the session, the clinician will be available for anyone who wishes to have a follow-up phone call.

Support for Students resources

New Support for Students resources are available to help Unit of Study Coordinators manage one-on-one academic consultations with 1000-level students at risk of not completing a unit of study before census, including video guides, drop-in sessions and an updated Student Appointment Guide.

We acknowledge the tradition of custodianship and law of the Country on which the University of Sydney campuses stand. We pay our respects to those who have cared and continue to care for Country.
