Fiona Probyn-Rapsey awarded 2014 Fellowship at Wesleyan University

Fiona Probyn-Rapsey (Department of Gender and Cultural Studies, and Network leader of HARN: Human Animal Research Network) has been awarded a 2014 ASI-WAS Human-Animal Studies Summer Fellowship at Wesleyan University, Connecticut, for scholars pursuing work in Human Animal Studies.
Fiona was awarded a fellowship named in honour of Marti Kheel (for her contributions to feminist animal studies). The ASI-WAS fellowship is hosted by Professor Lori Gruen and Professor Kari Weil at Wesleyan University’s College of the Environment, and is co-sponsored by the Animals and Society Institute based in the US. She will spend May-July 2014 there.
