Human Rights and Imperialism in Historical Perspective

This interdisciplinary conference investigates the relationship between the discursive frameworks of human rights and empire from the nineteenth century to the present. It will be convened by Dr Marco Duranti of the University of Sydney and Professor Samuel Moyn of Columbia University.
