I am studying for my PhD at the University of Valencia, in the Department of Language and Literature; my subject is Spanish theatre during the Spanish Golden Age, especially the author Calderon de la Barca. I obtained an undergraduate degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Valencia, and have certifications in education and in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.

I have worked in the Netherlands teaching Spanish at the Hogeschool van Utrecht, and in Spain at the Politécnico Galileo Galilei. For the last four years I have lived in Stockholm, Sweden, teaching Spanish at the Instituto Cervantes.

Projects

I have participated in several projects on ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language), including:

  • planning curriculum on the subject of poetry during the Spanish Civil War;
  • revision of the functional and grammatical content of the curriculum at the Stockholm Instituto Cervantes;
  • creation of supplementary teaching material at the Instituto Cervantes of Stockholm; and

    development of a questionnaire for “la Olimpíada del español”, a Spanish language competition, in Sweden.

Conference activity

  • Presentation at the Stockholm Instituto Cervantes in Stockholm on the International European Day of languages.

    "Study in Spain" Presentation at the Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium, Djursholm, Sweden.

    Referee in Using AVE in ours lessons at Instituto Cervantes of Stockholm.
