Fees and Costs
All local undergraduate students are offered a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). See here for more information on CSP places.
For CSP students, the exact cost of your degree will be determined by the units of study (subjects) in which you enrol. The actual amount you have to pay when you enrol will be determined by whether you decide to pay your fees upfront, make a partial payment, or whether you decide to undertake a Government loan to cover your costs, either using HECS-HELP for Commonwealth supported students, or FEE-HELP for Fee-paying students.
You will also need to decide how you would like to pay for the compulsory Student Amenities Fee (SAF), which you can also pay upfront or defer. For more information on the Student Amenities Fee, please click here.
For more information about fees and costs please see the University of Sydney Student Centre Costs page.
How do I pay?
No payment is required on the day of your enrolment, as you will be sent an invoice post enrolment with instruction on how to make payment if required. However, if you’re a domestic student, you will need to decide how you wish to pay your fees for the purposes of enrolment.
