Black Coal, Thin Ice

A multiple prize-winner at the Berlinale, Diao Yinan’s classy film noir explores a police investigation in modern China. The University of Sydney’s Tyler Pike translates a Q&A with Yinan, as Black Coal, Thin Ice gets it Australian premiere.
