Having experienced both traditional and independent publishing routes, Elisabeth Storrs has learned the benefits and pitfalls of being a publisher, printer and publicist. Her historical novel, The Wedding Shroud, was released by Murdoch Books in ANZ but did not attract a readership until she self-published it overseas. Going ‘indie’ had its rewards with her book rising to 8th place on Amazon’s Historical Fiction and History popularity lists and being judged runner-up in the International Sharp Writ Awards for General Fiction. Storrs graduated from the University of Sydney in Arts/Law in 1983, majoring in English and having studied Classics.
