Sex and Representation

Join four incredible women for a panel on sex and representation in discussion with MCA’s Senior Curator Rachel Kent. Wangechi Mutu is a visual artist whose collages focus on black female representation in popular culture; Naomi Wolf’s latest work is the fascinating Vagina: A New Biography; Emily Maguire’s Princesses and Pornstars: Sex + Power + Identity examines the treatment of women; and the University of Sydney’s Dr Juanita Ruys’ work explores issues of sexuality, including the sexual appetites attributed to demons, in the Middle Ages.
