Sessions 1, 3 and 4 run for two hours each including one hour plenary session and one hour group session (intervened by refreshments). In the group sessions, discussion is facilitated by expert teaching staff from each of the represented schools. This provides you with an opportunity to discuss issues with your peers, and explore the ways in which they relate to their own teaching practice and experience.
Session 2 is a two hour blended learning session, involving training with online course components, including online assessment. These sessions are led by the Faculty's educational designers who are experts in the educational and technical aspects of online learning. There are multiple sessions in the Brennan MacCallum Building Computer Lab and these include 10am-12pm, 12-2pm and 2-4pm. You will be required to choose your time preference when enrolling in TDP, but places are subject to computer availability.
Session 5, the final session, is a one hour plenary session only, followed by refreshments. As part of the final session all participants must complete a short online teaching reflection (through the TDP blackboard site) within one week.
