Sessional Staff Orientations

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers separate orientations for new sessional staff tutoring at the undergraduate level or teaching in masters coursework programs. These orientations are paid as part of a staff member's contract for new staff who have not previously completed the orientations or a teaching development program. The orientations provide the most basic, necessary information and tips to get you started as a teacher in the tutorial or masters coursework environment. You may repeat the orientation as many times as you like, but you may only be paid once.
