Am I protected when I report wrongdoing?
The University is committed to protecting people who report wrongdoing. For staff and affiliates, this protection is governed by the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994 (NSW) and the University’s Reporting Wrongdoing Policy 2012.
Staff and affiliates who disclose wrongdoing or suspected wrongdoing must not be subjected to detrimental action by way of reprisal for having done so. For further information about this please refer to the University’s Reporting Wrongdoing Policy 2012.
Any staff member or affiliate who believes that detrimental action has been, or is being taken against them or another person in reprisal for a report of wrongdoing, should immediately inform one of the following people:
