Interested in exploring issues but short on time? Our 3 day professional development courses restart in 2012.
The Sydney Bioethics Program is moving to the School of Public Health in 2012, you can find our new website here. This website will be taken down in 2012 and is for reference purposes only.
Are you interested in the interaction between advances in biotechnology and society, or the complex relationship between morality, mental health and the law? Do you want to explore issues around euthanasia and end-of life-care, human and animal research ethics, stem cell research and cloning, or doctor-patient relationships?
The Sydney Bioethics program at VELiM is a unique educational experience that has been bringing together students, researchers and practitioners from health, the humanities and social sciences to study these and other questions since 2006. We offer an innovative, interdisciplinary postgraduate program in Bioethics where students can choose to study a Graduate Certificate, a Graduate Diploma or a Masters degree. These qualifications are an excellent way to add value to an ongoing career in a health-related field, or build a research career. Courses are offered in a variety of formats to suit students who have other demands on their time. We also offer shorter professional development courses.
Welcome to our website, we hope you find it useful, interesting and informative. If you have any questions, please contact us at bioethics@sydney.edu.au.
