The following degree programs are available:
Graduate Certificate in Bioethics
To qualify for this degree students will complete a total of four units of study (i.e. 24 credit points) within the Bioethics program.
- Students will complete:
- the Core unit of study, BETH 5101 Introduction to Ethical Reasoning
- any two Foundational units of study, and
- one additional Foundational or Elective unit of study. - Students may not take BETH 5301 or BETH 5302.
- This degree will usually be completed by full-time students in one semester, or by part-time students over two or three semesters.
Graduate Diploma in Bioethics
To qualify for this degree students will complete a total of six units of study (i.e. 36 credit points) within the Bioethics program.
- Students will complete:
- the Core unit of study, BETH 5101 Introduction to Ethical Reasoning
- any two Foundational units, and
- three additional Foundational or Elective units. - Students may not take BETH 5301 or BETH 5302.
- This degree will usually be completed full-time over two semesters, or part-time over three to four semesters.
Master of Bioethics
To qualify for this degree students will complete a total of eight units of study (i.e. 48 credit points) within the Bioethics program.
- Students will complete:
- two core units of study, BETH 5101 and BETH 5000
- three Foundational units of study, and
- three Elective units of study. - Students may take BETH 5301 and BETH 5302 with permission.
- This degree will usually be completed full-time over two semesters, or part-time over three to four semesters.
