History

The Molecular Biotechnology Program at The University of Sydney was founded in 2000 and developed with the generous assistance of our industry partners and the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training through the Science Lectureships initiative. Four coursework degrees were offered for the first time in 2001. Over 250 PG students and 220 UG students have graduated from Sydney in this field of specialisation.
