The integration of research programs and clinics at the Brain & Mind Research Institute (BMRI) enables the translation of research outcomes into improved healthcare practice and policy.
Because of this integration, our research is underpinned by an understanding of the needs of primary and allied carers, and patients and their families.
The BMRI is the lead agency for two headspace youth mental health clinics – at Camperdown (operating on site) and Campbelltown.
The following clinics operate as part of larger research programs:
- Autism Clinic for Translational Research (ACTr)
- ForeFront Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Clinic
- Healthy Brain Ageing Clinic
- Parkinson's Disease Clinic
Two private clinics operate on site at the BMRI:
A range of healthcare services are offered as part of broader research programs, contributing simultaneously to the person’s healthcare and to research objectives.
