The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) has been established to investigate the neurobiology of major psychiatric and neurological disorders with an integral mission to provide early intervention for these disabling mental health problems. Incorporating a multifaceted team of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Neurologists, Neuroscientists, Chronobiologists, Nurses and Research Psychologists, the CRU uses state-of-the art research methods including neuroimaging, event related potentials, sleep and chronobiology, neuropsychological testing and clinical interviewing. The CRU has extensive collaborations with external agencies and institutions in the areas of depression, dementia, Parkinson's disease, social anxiety, sleep disorders, schizophrenia, psychosis, substance misuse and autism.
