The Brain and Mind Research Institute is a Centre of the University of Sydney, made up of 27 research units, staffed by around 200 researchers and 100 students.
Our people work collaboratively to develop new procedures, technologies and medicines and to provide immediate access to the most advanced treatments for mental and neurological disorders.
Expressions of interest are currently invited for appointment as a full-time post-doctoral clinical research associate for a six-month period. The role is supported by a grant from Uniting Care and the appointee will be working closely with Professor Ian Hickie at the Brain & Mind Research Institute.
- Clinical or public health research experience preferably in a child or youth mental health framework
- Experience in the design of clinical trials
- Experience in the preparation of ethics applications for clinical research
- Experience in developing research protocols
- Ability to work largely independently
- Excellent communication skills
