Living with frontotemporal dementia

Meet Greg Kelly; an inspirational character who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia

On August 12, Greg Kelly will embark on the journey of a lifetime. Bolstered by a team of supporters, he will set off from his home on the Gold Coast to drive a Harley Davidson across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. He'll be visiting the Brain and Mind Centre on 15 August.

“Kell’s Ride” aims to raise community awareness and much needed funds for FTD research and support services.  The Frontier Research Group here at the Brain and Mind, where Greg received his diagnosis, will be one of the beneficiaries of his fundraising.

In this special one-off event hosted by the Brain and Mind Centre’s Frontier Frontotemporal Dementia Research Group, Greg will share his experiences so far on the road, hopes for the future and how Frontier and his diagnosis helped him find his motorbike-fuelled direction.

Join us for this special Q&A and challenge your perceptions of what it means to live with a progressive neurological condition. Come along to support Greg on his very admirable mission.
