Welcome to the University of Sydney Business School.
Our Business School is a world class centre of teaching and learning that aims to help you to realise your potential through an educational experience that is truly transformational. We are able to do this by providing cutting edge industry oriented programs, by leveraging our external partnerships and alumni community and by giving you the technical and leadership skills to succeed in a dynamic 21st century environment.
Put simply, the University of Sydney Business School is a great business school that helps you to put knowledge into practice. Our programs are designed to ensure that you actively engage with the material presented to you. By being engaged, learning is deeper. Practical skills－like problem-solving, working collaboratively, providing compelling arguments, and effectively communicating and demonstrating the means by which a strategy can be successfully executed－are enhanced.
Importantly, we give you opportunities to engage not only inside but also outside of the classroom through our industry placement programs offered in Sydney, in regional NSW, and internationally. The internships are, in turn, examples of the strength of our close connections with local and international businesses, and with public and private organisations.
We do great things at the University of Sydney Business School. In all that we do, there is an emphasis on quality－the large number of our programs that are professionally accredited attest to this, as does the fact that we are the only Australian business school to achieve membership of CEMS (the Global Alliance in Management Education) as well as being accredited internationally by both AACSB and EQUIS.
Fundamentally the Business School's emphasis is on ensuring that you discover by doing because we believe that experiential learning is the key to developing the skills of industry ready graduates.
