Casual Academic Vacancies

The University of Sydney Business School is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for casual academic vacancies as, tutors, lab-demonstrators, lecturers that may exist from time to time.

The Applicants

Applicants should have relevant academic qualifications that should be at post-graduate level for post-graduate courses; lecturing experience; good communications skills; and professional expertise in several aspects of Business Information Systems (BIS). These include:

  • Business analysis; BIS Project Management; Change Management; Technology-enabled business innovation at strategic, tactical and operational levels;

  • Business models; supply chain management; data and process analysis modelling techniques; and (ERP) Enterprise Systems;

  • Information and Knowledge Management, Business Intelligence; and BIS Assurance and Control, BIS Management and Strategic Management.

Preferred applicants will have BIS applications expertise with several foundation technologies such as relational databases; process analysis and modelling tools; ERP systems; project management tools; business intelligence and internet tools.

Rates of Pay

The Discipline of BIS at the University of Sydney was established in 2002. In this short time we have grown to be one of the largest BIS departments in Australia and become recognised internationally for our innovative, multidisciplinary approach to BIS education with a strong commitment to practice based, industry-relevant teaching and research.
