Co-hosted by Professor Gregory Whitwell, Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, and Professor Archie Johnston, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and IT, the event presented 'Innovation strategy - How to build an idea in an ever-changing world.'

Business Alumni Mentoring Program Launch

The Business Alumni Mentoring Program Launch was held on Wednesday, 4 May at the Business School’s CBD campus. The Program is in its second year and has almost tripled in this time.

This Program matches business professionals with current students in a setting where our alumni can provide relevant business input into career planning and decision making.

The Program runs from May until October.

The Business of Retail

14 April 2016

Our first affinity series event for 2016, The Business of Retail, featured Adam Jacobs, Founder of THE ICONIC, Nick Molnar, CEO of AfterPay and Rob Hango-Zada, Director of Shippit. The panel session was moderated by alumnus Corey Payne, who has just been appointed as the new CEO of Penrith Panthers.

The night included a lively discussion on the current and future trends of retail as well as professional networking.

The speakers were very engaging, insightful and generous to share their learnings and knowledge on the night. Thank you!

The format/style of the panel presentation was very relaxed, making it easy to relate with.

Great personal insights from people who know their stuff.

Alumni Mentoring Program Graduation 2015

This year, we were proud to run our pilot Business Alumni Mentoring Program. The program matched business professionals with current students in a setting where our alumni provided relevant business input into career planning and decision making.

The graduation event on 26 November showcased the success of the program, from both the mentor and mentee’s perspective. We look forward to growing the program in 2016.
