Guest speaker - Lieutenant General David Morrison, AO, Chief of the Australian Army

Professor Tyrone Carlin and Professor David Grant, Co-Deans of the University of Sydney Business School are delighted to invite all alumni and their guests to the Business School's Annual Alumni Dinner on Thursday, 10 October 2013 in the University of Sydney's Great Hall.
The guest speaker for the evening is Chief of the Australian Army, Lieutenant General David Morrison, AO, whose keynote address for the evening will be 'Getting the Culture of the Organisation Right: The Leader's Role.'
Lieutenant General David Morrison joined the Army in 1979, after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian National University. He was appointed Chief of Army on 27 June 2011.
Lieutenant General Morrison holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the Centre for Defence and Strategic Studies, Canberra and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours List of 2010 for his service to the Australian Army in the fields of training and education, military strategic commitments and force structure and capability. In February 2012, he was awarded The Legion of Merit, Degree of Commander, by the United States of America, for exceptionally meritorious service as the Chief of the Australian Army.
