The University of Sydney Business School’s alumni are one of our greatest strengths, a global community of leaders shaping business, society and ideas worldwide. By staying engaged, you can reconnect with classmates, expand your professional network, and influence the next generation of business leaders.

Join more than 70,000 Business School graduates who are part of the University of Sydney’s international alumni network. Together we drive innovation, share knowledge, and build connections that span industries and continents.

Ways to get involved

We are passionate about sharing the success of our graduates as well as connecting our alumni with current and future students. We have various speaking and volunteering opportunities available, ranging from involvement in careers panels, recruitment fairs and podcasts to student project marking. To get involved please register your interest.

We encourage alumni to offer our students mentoring in key areas of business and career development. Learn more about the Industry Mentoring Program.

Provide in-company, short-term placements for students. The Business School Industry Placement Program allows you and your organisation to identify and develop the business leaders of the future.

The Business School Careers and Employability Office coordinates various careers events throughout the year. If you are interested in recruiting graduates from the University of Sydney Business School, please contact business.careers@sydney.edu.au.

A select group of international alumni who volunteer their time to encourage offshore alumni and friends to maintain contact.

The Business School is fortunate to benefit from ongoing corporate and individual support, with finances developing research, scholarships, outreach activities and events that benefit both students and industry. Learn how you can support us.

Nominate outstanding alumni and our most recent graduates for our prestigious annual Alumni Awards program.

The Genesis Startup Program exists to support the most promising startups from across the University of Sydney community - including alumni, students and staff - with mentoring from experts, assistance with media exposure and a final award of $25,000.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honour society for students enrolled in business and management programs. Each semester the Beta Gamma Sigma nominating committee at the University of Sydney Business School elects eligible graduates and students for collegiate chapter membership.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma lasts a lifetime. With 30 international chapters, the Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Network invites members to participate in a wide range of events and engage with high-achieving business alumni around the world.
