Why did you choose to study at the University of Sydney Business School?
The University of Sydney is Australia's first university with a good reputation. The beautiful photo of the Quadrangle at the University also attracted me.
What is your most favourite memory from your time at the University?
I enjoyed the positive attitudes of the staff and the classmates around me. I was also fond of the lectures, preparing presentations, and pulling all-nighters to finish group assignments together.
What does being a University of Sydney Business School alumnus/na mean to you?
The Business School is not only a good knowledge sharing platform, but also provides social networking for career opportunities.
What did you do in the year immediately after graduating?
I returned to China and worked in an accounting firm.
How did your time at the Business School change you both professionally and personally?
Professors encouraged us to think critically. Group assignments and presentations helped with team spirit and communication skills. The academic pressure was heavy but helped with work-life arrangements. The various seminars helped me to see beyond the horizon.
What has been the greatest accomplishment of your career to date?
I am internal auditor/auditing lecturer in a university presently. I teach my students knowledge by using teaching skills I learnt at the University of Sydney University Business School.
What business person inspired you most?
Steve Jobs. In my opinion he is a successful business man, IT engineer and artist.
What are some of your favourite things about Sydney?
Definitely the beautiful view of University of Sydney campus. I miss the famous Jacaranda trees, Quadrangle and other buildings. These memories are irreplaceable.
What would you say to a prospective student who is considering study at the Business School?
The Business School is a good place for potential exploration. Work hard and grow with your university
