Economics and Business Alumni Magazine - Inaugural Edition December 2007
As the Alumni Relations Manager for the Faculty of Economics and Business, I am delighted to introduce you to the inaugural edition of the Faculty's Alumni Magazine entitled - 'E&B Connect'.
This publication is for our alumni so that you can remain connected to the Faculty which was once a part of your everyday life while you studied for your degree at the University of Sydney. We would like to remain in touch with our alumni and to provide you with a regular update about the ongoing activities and achievements of the Faculty and your fellow alumni.
This first edition includes the following: an update on the current standing of the Faculty and the international accreditations which it has achieved in recent years, allowing it to attain world class recognition as a leading business school in Australia and its region; alumni profiles which feature four of our outstanding alumni, most notably John Studdy AM, FCA (BEc '52); an update on our research unit with particular focus in this issue on Associate Professor Elizabeth Cowley's current research project; details of the distinguished Board of Advice which provides ongoing guidance to the direction of the Faculty; the role of a new Faculty Careers and Employer Relations Office for our students and a summary of recent events in 2007.
