The Business School and Community
The relationships that the Business School has developed with local and international community organisations enrich our curriculum and create diverse opportunities for our students. These relationships also build on innovative research projects and advance scholarship links and community service.
We are continually looking at ways of forging stronger bonds with the community and take an active interest in how projects can genuinely benefit society as a whole whether they are from a teaching, research or outreach perspective.
As an example of these initiatives, a number of Business School academics have teaching links with institutions across the globe and we undertake collaborative research with many other institutions including the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and The University of Bologna.
Our community outreach projects involve a diverse mix of initiatives; from helping local primary school students establish market gardens to establishing a project with AusAID in partnership with University of Battambang & Vietnam National University.
