Welcome to HETSA 2010

The HETSA 2010 Conference is the Twenty-Third Conference of the History of Economic Thought Society of Australia to be hosted by the Discipline of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sydney. It is to be held 7-9 July 2010 on the Camperdown Campus of the University of Sydney, Australia.

The distinguished visitor Harald Hagemann will give the keynote address on 'The early reception of Keynes's General Theory by German-speaking economists' (see Abstract).

A cocktail reception to welcome attendees, especially from out of Sydney, is to be held on the evening of Tuesday 6 July, 5.30-7.30 pm, at the Nicholson Museum, situated at the southern entrance to the Main Quadrangle of the University (go to Sydney Campus Maps page: click on campus directory:enter A14, see 'MacLaurin' on map). Registration at the conference will begin 8.30 am, Wednesday 7 July, at the conference venue. Sessions begin at 9am (see conference program Adobe PDF Document).

The conference dinner will be at 6.30 pm, Thursday 8 July, at 'The Mixing Pot' restaurant, 178 St. Johns Rd., Glebe. It is only about 12 minutes walk from the conference venue.
