It is designed to enhance understanding and experience of real work projects through undertaking structured assessments of historical projects in a variety of contexts based upon the components of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Students also learn how PMBOK is applied currently in industry - including a presentation from a project management expert practitioner. The unit culminates in the development of a project charter and undertaking project planning in a business setting of relevance to student interests.|
