| Description | The aim of this unit is to provide an integrated approach to both micro and macro aspects of organisational behaviour particularly related to the transport and logistic industries. The unit examines actions at three different levels of analysis: the individual, the group and the organisation and is divided into three parts. Part 1 covers the strategic thinking and the general environment affecting the work place. It also examines the fundamentals of individual at work. Part 2 focuses on leadership, work teams, and power and conflict in organisations. Part 3 attends to organisational structure, culture and strategic change management. The integration of these three parts would provide participants with the knowledge and skills to manage his/her organisation effectively particularly in the transport and logistic industries. |
