This degree is no longer accepting new enrolments. The following information is for students who commenced study in this degree prior to 2012. Students who are commencing study from 2012 must enrol in FC074 Master of International Business.

The International Business programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills relevant to the development, strategy and management of international business organisations; and the institutional context for their development, growth and operation. The field of international business includes multinational and transnational business activities; strategic and managerial processes that cross national boundaries; joint ventures and strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions; managing international risk; cross-cultural management; and the interactions of international business organisations with their economic, political and cultural environments.

Course requirements

To be awarded the Master of International Business, students must successfully complete a total of 12 units of study (72 credit points), comprising:

  • four foundational units of study (24 credit points)
  • four core units of study (24 credit points)
  • four elective units of study (24 credit points).
