Progression checking

Introduction

A progression check can be used by students to have their studies to date assessed and have the Student Information Office confirm what is left for successful completion of your degree.

Steps to follow

  1. The student fills out the online Progression Check Application Form on the Business School’s website.
  2. The SIO reviews and checks the student's progression and emails the student with comments and an electronic version of the plan for their records.

To be eligible for a progression check, students must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have completed at least half of your award course.
  • You must elect intended major/s for assessment if applicable.
  • You may only submit one progression check per academic year.

If you commenced your studies prior to the current year, you should consult the Handbooks archives link on the left of the handbooks page for the handbook of the year you commenced your studies. Students are generally obliged to follow the rules and resolutions of the year they commenced their degree.
