Educational Practice Unit in Business

What we do

The Educational Practice Unit in the Business School is a service and support unit that proactively seeks to meet the goal of quality in both teaching and learning. Activities range from one-to-one consultations to professional development programs, as well as seminars and workshops designed to facilitate and share effective learning and teaching innovation and practice at discipline and School levels.

The Educational Practice Unit provides support and advice on curriculum design and innovation, evaluating teaching and the impact on student learning, leadership in learning and teaching, applying for promotion, learning and teaching grants and learning and teaching awards.

The Unit also provides representation and advice within the School and University. Within the Educational Practice Unit, we are committed to regularly reviewing how we can best support and assist colleagues in the areas of learning and teaching including curriculum design.

Who we work with

All School members (tenured, sessional, adjunct, graduate students) who wish to reflect on and improve their teaching and student learning, and contribute to the scholarship of learning and teaching in business education.
