Professor Tyrone Carlin and Professor David Grant, Co-Deans; The University of Sydney Business School, and Mr Martin McGrath, President of The Accounting Foundation invite you to the RJ Chambers Memorial Research Lecture on "Risk culture in financial organisations"
Michael Power is Professor of Accounting and Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) at the London School of Economics. He is best known for his 1999 book The Audit Society; rituals of verification and his more recent work on risk management including his 2007 OUP book Organized Uncertainty; designing a world of risk management.
For the 2014 R J Chambers Memorial Research Lecture, Professor Power will present the findings and conclusions from his recent empirical research on risk cultures within financial institutions.
