Critical Thinking Skills Test

Students commencing the Master of Commerce (or a Commerce combined degree program) have the opportunity to be considered for a waiver of the compulsory unit, BUSS5000 Critical Thinking in Business If you wish to be considered, you must complete a 60-minute invigilated test in one of the scheduled sessions to be held at The University of Sydney Business School in the week prior to semester commencement. The test will allow you to demonstrate your proficiency at comprehending an argument extracted from an academic journal article and writing a succinct counter-argument. Students demonstrating a high level of proficiency in critical thinking will be eligible for a waiver for BUSS5000, allowing them to substitute this with another unit listed for the Commerce program (please note that waivers do not reduce the total number of units which must be completed for the program).
