Operations Management & Econometrics

The Discipline of Operations Management and Econometrics offers units of study in Econometrics and related areas for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • At undergraduate level, students may undertake a major in either Econometrics or Management Decision Sciences. Honours is also available in both of these areas.
  • At postgraduate level, students can complete a specialisation in Quantitative Business Analysis under the Master of Commerce programs and an Econometrics major under the Master of Economics.

The Discipline also offers research master's and doctoral programs of study.

Undergraduate Study in Operations Management and Econometrics

Students can complete Econometrics and Management Decision Sciences majors or elective; Econometrics and Business Statistics units in:

Undergraduate Majors

Postgraduate Study in Operations Management and Econometrics

Master of Commerce (Including Combined Degrees)

Students can complete Operations Management and Econometrics units of study as part of specialisations, including a specialisation in Quantitative Business Analysis, or as electives under the following:

Master of Economics

Under the Master of Economics, certain Operations Management and Econometrics units of study are compulsory. Students may also complete an Econometrics specialisation (see below) or additional Operations Management and Econometrics units of study as electives.
