Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships
The University of Sydney Business School continues to produce outstanding graduates who take up leading positions in business, government, academia and the not-for-profit sector. The range of Business School scholarships we offer reflects our strong links with industry and the corporate sector, as well as our commitment to students. A scholarship from The University of Sydney is more than just financial assistance. It is recognition of an individual's talent and hard work and can be an integral step towards a fulfilling career.
Many of the Business School scholarships are enhanced by links with sponsorship partners in the business, alumni and wider University communities. Other scholarships are sponsored by individuals, corporations and valued members of our alumni network.

The University of Sydney Business School Business Leader Postgraduate Scholarship
The University of Sydney Business School is offering up to twenty scholarships for local and international students undertaking one of the eligible single masters postgraduate coursework programs offered in semester 2, 2013. The scholarships are awarded on merit to the most outstanding applicants against the following selection criteria of academic achievement, leadership capabilities, ambassadorial potential and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. The scholarships will cover 50% of the tuition fees for up to 16 units of study, pending normal degree duration.
The Business School is currently taking applications from students who will be commencing one of the eligible masters degrees in semester 2, 2013.
Only candidates that are expected to commence study in one of the following degrees in semester 2, 2013 may apply for the Business Leader Postgraduate Scholarship.
- Master of Commerce
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Professional Accounting
- Master of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations
- Master of International Business
- Master of Logistics Management
- Master of Marketing
- Master of Transport Management
- Master of Management
- Master of Management (CEMS)
Scholarship applications will be accepted in two rounds for selection and award from candidates commencing one of the nominated Masters degrees in semester 2,2013. Applicants applying in round one should not reapply in round two.

The Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership
Established from a generous donation from prominent alumnus, David Anstice, the scholarship is intended to promote academic excellence and support emerging leaders from the not-for-profit sector undertaking the new Sydney MBA. The scholarship will offer financial assistance to a total value of $30,000. Criteria used in selection include academic merit, career achievements and evidence of ongoing commitment to sector.
No separate application is required for this scholarship. Candidates are considered on their admission application for this award.

Master of Management Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2009 in conjunction with the introduction of the Master of Management. The Master of Management is designed specifically for high performing students who have recently finished an undergraduate degree and combines leading edge business and management content with high levels of corporate engagement. |

The Master of Management is part of the CEMS Master of International Management program, a strategic alliance of leading international business schools and multinational companies. The scholarship covers tuition fees for up to ten units of study and is tenable for one full year. In 2013 the maximum value of the scholarship is $37,500. Up to two scholarships are available each year, one scholarship may be awarded each semester. The scholarships may also be awarded as shared. There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Instead, students will be short-listed for the scholarship through interviews conducted for entry to the degree and a recommendation will be made by the Admissions Committee to the Business School Executive Committee for final award. CEMS Exchange Travel Scholarships
The University of Sydney Business School is pleased to offer financial assistance to Master of Management (CEMS) students participating on exchange to a recognised CEMS Partner University.
The scholarships valued at $2000 will be offered to students participating on exchange for their first semester on exchange as part of the Master of Management (CEMS) degree. Up to 5 scholarships are available each year. Two scholarships will be offered in semester 1 and two scholarships will be offered in semester 2. Depending on the calibre of the eligible group, scholarship places may vary. An additional place may be offered at the Program Director's discretion.
No application is necessary. Students will be assessed automatically based on academic merit determined by their Weighted Average Mark in the first semester of their Master of Management (CEMS) degree.

Global Executive MBA
Excellence in Leadership Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2009 in conjunction with the launch of the Global Executive MBA. The Global Executive MBA is an innovative degree designed specifically for experienced high performing managers to gain a strong competitive advantage in today's global marketplace.
The scholarship is valued at half the total degree tuition fees. One scholarship is available for award each year to the most outstanding candidate against the degree admission criteria.
No separate application is required for the scholarship as students are considered on their admission application for this award.

Alumni Scholarship for Excellence in Not-for-Profit Leadership
The scholarship was established in 2009 in conjunction with the launch of the Global Executive MBA. The scholarship is funded from the generous donations of University of Sydney Alumni together with the University of Sydney Business School.
The Alumni Scholarship is intended to promote academic excellence at the executive Leadership level of education within the Not for Profit sector. The scholarship is valued at $50,000 tenable over the 1.5 year span of the degree.
No separate application is required for the scholarship as students are considered on their admission application for this award.
