"The application of my research in a number of organisations has helped to engender how the organisation can deliver 'social' outcomes in conjunction with financial outcomes. My area of interest is intellectual capital (IC). In a nutshell it deals with the non-financial elements of an organisation. My research deals with the identification of IC, the utilisation of IC in organisations and the subsequent change impacts of managing IC. The program I am undertaking is interesting as I am attempting to include a number of published articles in my thesis. I find this challenging as well as a beneficial".
"The facilities at the University of Sydney are second to none. I was quite amazed at the Faculty of Economics and Business Research Centre; I never imagined anything like this existed before I came here. The Library resources are fantastic and combined with the IT network, you can find anything you need. In addition, the availability of specialist software packages (e.g. SPSS, nVivo and End Note) has helped me in completing my thesis. I cannot fault the support that I have received from the Faculty. My Supervisor has been especially helpful along with his staff, the IT team and especially the research support unit".
