Sandra Seno-Alday
Discipline of International Business
Sandra Seno-Alday completed an undergraduate Honours degree in Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and finished an International MBA at ESCP-EAP in France. She taught business and management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has consulted with a broad range of industries including transport, insurance, real estate and education. Sandra is undertaking her PhD in Economics in the Discipline of International Business and her study aims to explore the alignment between current measures of firm multinationality and theories of the multinational enterprise (MNE).
"I was at the stage in my career that I wanted to take my teaching and my consulting to the next level, and undertaking a PhD was the next step. It had to be in an institution with a solid reputation in research and with excellent research facilities. My research will hopefully contribute to a greater understanding of multinationals in general and the role that multinationals really play in our increasingly interconnected world. Research in the Faculty of Economics and Business is wonderful because the research facilities, resources, and support are unparalleled".
Sandra is supervised by Sid Gray.
