Associate Professor Nick Wailes
Nick is an Associate Professor in Work and Organisational Studies and specialises in strategic management and comparative employment relations. Central to Nick's research is an interest in whether social, cultural, organisational, regional or national contexts influence decision making and successful implementation. He is currently involved in two large ARC funded research projects: one which focuses on changes in employment relations in auto assembly and retail banking in seven countries and a second examining the strategic implications of HR information systems. His research has been published in leading international journals including the Journal of Business Ethics and the International Journal of Human Resource Management.
