Thesis working title

Mutual Funds Trading Activity, Skills and Fund Behavior

The unprecedented growth of the mutual fund industry over last eight decades has inspired one of the largest bodies of literature in empirical finance. However, the findings on Mutual funds trading activity, skills and fund behavior are not conclusive due to not having mutual funds daily holding data. This study intends to work with an innovative methodology to find conclusive evidence on these issues by using a unique database.
