James comes from a professional background where he provided audit and advisory services to a range of businesses, particularly in the transport and mining sectors. He also advised various parts of the NSW Government on a range of key policy decisions. James is a Chartered Accountant and his undergraduate thesis focused on the application of agency theory to AWB Limited, the former single desk for wheat exports and how the incentives within the remuneration contract may have impacted management decisions.

How to better coordinate operators in the passenger transport industry to provide better mobility as a service

James is engaged in a collaborative research project between The University of Sydney Business School and MetroTrains focussed on Multimodal Public Transport systems.
